TAR HEEL

(Hot Patch's Great Great Grandsire and out of Billy Direct) 

Tar Heel (p, T1:57 1948-1982) was the first Standardbred to bring > $100,000 at public auction back in 1951.  At is death in 1982, his progeny had earned nearly $36 Million.  

Tar Heel was known as the "King of Queens" because the genes he passed along to his daughters were very, very special.  Tar Heel's daughter Saralee Hanover was bred to Best of All to produce Skip's Hanover (Patch's Grandsire).  Yes, Jezebel is a pretty Hot Fancey Girl indeed!
